Ingredients

6 pounds apples
4.5 cups white sugar
1 cup cornstarch
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg
10 cups water
2 teaspoons salt
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 drops yellow food coloring
