Ingredients

200g elbow macaroni
1 tablespoon light olive oil
30g freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1.5 teaspoons lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon dried basil
1/8 teaspoon dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon dried cilantro
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
4 tablespoons light olive oil
2 tilapia fillets
1.5 teaspoons lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon dried basil
1/8 teaspoon dried cilantro
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions

1

Cook the pasta: In a pot, bring salted water to a boil over medium heat. Add macaroni and cook for about 8 minutes until tender yet firm, stirring occasionally.

2

While the pasta cooks, prepare the fish: Heat 4 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Coat tilapia fillets on both sides with lemon juice, oregano, basil, cilantro, salt, and pepper. Place the fillets into the hot skillet, ensuring they don't touch. Cook for 2 to 4 minutes per side until golden brown outside and flaky within, then set aside on a plate.

3

Finish the pasta: Drain macaroni and return it to the pot. Stir in remaining olive oil and Parmesan cheese. Mix in lemon juice, garlic powder, basil, oregano, cilantro, salt, and pepper.

4

Serve immediately: Divide pasta between two plates and top each with a tilapia fillet.
