Ingredients

2 cups Halloween-shaped pasta
2 cups wagon wheel-shaped pasta
2.5 cups peeled chopped pumpkin
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp ground allspice
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp chopped onion
1 tsp chili powder
3 tbsp olive oil
1 (4 oz) can sliced black olives
1 (8 oz) can garbanzo beans, drained
0.25 cup chopped garlic
0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
0.25 cup olive oil
3 tbsp dried oregano

Directions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Cook Halloween-shaped and wagon wheel-shaped pasta in the boiling water, giving it a stir every now and then until it's al dente. Drain the pasta and transfer it to a large mixing bowl.

Place pumpkin in a big pot, cover with salted water, and bring to a boil. Lower heat to medium-low and let it simmer for around 20 minutes until tender. Drain the pumpkin, return it to the pot, and mix in nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon, minced garlic, onion, chili powder, and 3 tablespoons of olive oil.

Combine olives and garbanzo beans with the cooked pasta. Add chopped garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, extra olive oil, and oregano. Toss everything together and then top with the pumpkin mixture.
