Ingredients

1 lb ground bison
0.5 cup plain breadcrumbs
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp salt
0.5 tsp freshly ground black pepper
0.5 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp vegetable oil
3 cups water
0.5 cup orange marmalade
0.25 cup rice vinegar
2 tbsp Asian chili pepper sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce

Directions

1

In a large bowl, combine the bison, breadcrumbs, garlic, egg, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Shape into 24 bite-sized meatballs.

2

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until they're nicely browned on all sides, about 7 to 10 minutes.

3

In the same skillet, pour in the water, orange marmalade, rice vinegar, chili sauce, and soy sauce. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to medium-low and let the sauce thicken for about 50 minutes.
