In a heatproof bowl, combine water, oats, milk, butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Place the bowl into your slow cooker.
Top up the slow cooker with water up to the level of the water in the bowl. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours until the oats are tender.
Stir in the peaches and their juices, then cover again and continue to cook on low for another 30 minutes until warmed through.
