Ingredients

1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup mirin
1/4 cup sake
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp grated fresh ginger
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp cornstarch
2 tsp oil
1 lb ground turkey
1 small onion, diced
2 cups frozen stir-fry vegetables
Cooked jasmine rice or udon noodles, for serving (optional)
1 tsp toasted sesame seeds, or to taste
1/4 cup Sliced green onion, or to taste

Directions

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, mirin, sake, garlic, ginger, brown sugar, and cornstarch. Set aside the teriyaki sauce.

Heat 2 tsp oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and crumbled, about 5 minutes.

Throw in the onions and frozen vegetables. Cover the skillet and steam for 3 minutes.

Uncover, pour in the teriyaki sauce, and cook while stirring until it thickens, roughly 3 minutes.

Serve over rice or noodles, drizzle with teriyaki sauce on top, then sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions.
