Ingredients

12 cups popped popcorn
1 cup granulated sugar
0.5 cup Karo® Light or Dark Corn Syrup
0.25 cup butter or margarine
0.5 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Spice Islands® Pure Vanilla Extract
0.5 teaspoon baking soda

Directions

1

Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Coat a large roasting pan with cooking spray.

2

Add popcorn to the prepared roasting pan; warm in the oven or microwave for 1 to 2 minutes.

3

In a heavy 2-quart saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil for 2 minutes while continuing to stir.

4

Off the heat, add vanilla and baking soda; pour glaze over warm popcorn, stirring until well coated.

5

Cover hands with two plastic bags, lightly coat with cooking spray; shape mixture into twelve 3-inch popcorn balls, working quickly.

6

Let cool completely and then wrap individually in plastic wrap.
