Transform French bread into a bubbly, cheesy appetizer packed with spicy sour cream dip, ham, and green onions.
Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
Cut off the top of the bread loaf and reserve it. Hollow out the loaf to create space for the filling; chop the hollowed-out bread for dipping.
In a bowl, mix together Cheddar cheese, ham, sour cream, cream cheese, green onions, green chilies, and jalapeños.
Spoon the mixture into the hollowed-out bread loaf. Place the reserved bread top back onto the loaf. Wrap the loaf with 2 pieces of aluminum foil.
Bake for about 1 hour and 20 minutes until the filling is cooked through and bubbling.
