Ingredients

2 carrots, peeled and sliced
1 apple, peeled, cored, and diced
4 teaspoons breast milk

In a saucepan, add the sliced carrots and cover with water. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 5 minutes. Add the diced apple; continue simmering until softened, about 5 more minutes. Drain the vegetables.

Transfer the cooked carrots and apple to a blender or food processor. Combine with breast milk and blend until smooth and cooled.
