Ingredients

80/20 ground beef
medium yellow onion
garlic cloves
kosher salt
black pepper
tomato paste
onion powder
smoked paprika
garlic powder
beef broth
canned crushed tomatoes
hamburger dill pickle chips
yellow mustard
ketchup
uncooked cavatappi pasta
sharp Cheddar cheese
cream cheese
toasted sesame seeds
scallions

Directions

1

Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic. Drably chop the pickle chips and set aside a few for garnish.

2

Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, onion, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the beef is no longer pink and the onions are translucent, 6 to 8 minutes.

3

Add tomato paste, onion powder, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Cook, stirring constantly, for about 1 minute until the tomato paste coats the mixture.

4

Stir in broth, crushed tomatoes, pickles, mustard, and ketchup. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

5

Add cavatappi pasta, ensuring it's fully submerged in the liquid. Cook until al dente, 8 to 10 minutes, while stirring occasionally.

6

Remove from heat and add cheddar cheese and cream cheese. Stir constantly until melted, about 2 minutes.

7

Divide pasta among bowls and garnish with pickle chips, sesame seeds, and scallions.
