1.5 kg baby red potatoes, cut into large chunks
1 garlic clove, halved lengthwise
0.5 cup milk
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

In a large pot, combine the potatoes and garlic. Add enough salted water to cover them entirely. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and let it simmer until the potatoes are tender – about 20 minutes. Drain the water and allow the potatoes to steam dry for 1 to 2 minutes.

Return the potatoes to the pot. Pour in milk and season with salt. Mash until you achieve a smooth consistency. Stir in parsley until well incorporated.
