Ingredients

2 lbs lean ground beef
1 cup chopped celery
0.5 cup chopped onion
1 (10.75 oz) can condensed tomato soup
0.25 cup ketchup
0.25 cup packed brown sugar
1 tbsp white vinegar
1.5 tsp Worcestershire sauce
0.5 tsp salt
0.25 tsp garlic powder
8 hamburger buns

Directions

1

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until well browned and crumbled. Use a potato masher to ensure even texture. Add celery and onion, then cover and cook for about 5 minutes until tender and translucent.

2

Drain off any excess grease, then stir in tomato soup, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and garlic powder. Heat over low heat until it starts to simmer, and continue cooking for a few more minutes while frequently stirring to prevent burning.

3

Spoon the beef mixture onto hamburger buns and serve.
