Ingredients

5 cups popped popcorn
1 cup candy corn
1 cup chopped salted peanuts
0.5 cup butter or margarine
3 cups miniature marshmallows
4 drops red food coloring
3 drops yellow food coloring
4 sticks red or black licorice, cut into thirds

Directions

1

Grease a muffin pan and set aside.

2

Combine the popcorn, candy corn, and peanuts in a large bowl. Set aside.

3

Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add marshmallows, red food coloring, and yellow food coloring, adjusting colors as needed to achieve a vibrant orange hue.

4

Once the marshmallows have fully melted, pour them over the popcorn mixture and mix well to distribute the candy, nuts, and marshmallow.

5

Using a greased spoon, fill each muffin cup with the popcorn mixture. Place a piece of licorice into the center of each popcorn ball for the stem. Shape the popcorn around the licorice to form pumpkins.

6

Allow the pumpkins to set until firm, about 10-15 minutes. Then, remove them from the muffin pan by their stems and serve as a delightful Halloween snack!
