Ingredients

2 lbs ground beef
1 large onion, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
2 (15 oz) cans kidney beans, drained
1 (46 fluid oz) can tomato juice
1 (28 oz) can peeled and diced tomatoes with juice
0.5 cup canned pumpkin puree
1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tbsp chili powder
0.25 cup white sugar

In a large pot over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it's browned and crumbly, about 5 to 7 minutes; drain the excess fat.

Add in the onion and green bell pepper, cooking and stirring for another 5 minutes. Then mix in the beans, tomato juice, diced tomatoes, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, chili powder, and sugar.

Allow the chili to simmer until it thickens and all the flavors meld together, approximately 1 hour.
