Ingredients

1 medium onion, sliced
1 medium green bell pepper, sliced
0.5 cup balsamic vinegar
0.5 cup olive oil
0.25 cup Worcestershire sauce
0.25 cup soy sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon crushed dried rosemary
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
370g boneless chuck steak

Directions

1

In a large resealable plastic bag, combine onion and bell pepper slices with vinegar, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic, rosemary, and pepper. Add the steak, turning to coat in the marinade. Squeeze out excess air and seal the bag.

2

Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or overnight.

3

Remove the steak from the marinade, shaking off excess. Discard half of the marinade.

4

In a large skillet over high heat, cook the remaining marinade and vegetable slices for 2 minutes. Move vegetables to one side of the pan and add the steak. Reduce heat to medium-high and cook for 4 minutes. Flip the steak and continue cooking until it reaches medium doneness, about 3 to 5 more minutes. Use an instant-read thermometer; the steak's center should read 60°C.

5

Drain the pan's marinade. Serve the steak with onion and bell pepper.
