Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (360°F) for 5 minutes according to the manufacturer's instructions.
In a bowl, mix together the ground bison, onion, egg, bread crumbs, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, salt, and pepper. Shape into 4 equal-sized patties.
Carefully place the patties in the bottom of the preheated air fryer. Air fry for 8 minutes; carefully turn patties over and continue air frying until juices run clear, 4 to 5 more minutes.
Serve the cooked patties on buns with your favorite toppings.
