Close and lock the lid. Set to high pressure for 45 minutes according to manufacturer's instructions. Allow 10-15 minutes for pressure to build.
Release pressure using the natural-release method, about 15 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid.
Preheat oven broiler with a rack 6 inches from the heat source.
