Ingredients

1 (4 pound) boneless beef chuck roast
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon Montreal-style steak seasoning
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cube beef bouillon
1 cup hot strong black coffee
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 teaspoon dried oregano

Rub the chuck roast with Worcestershire sauce and sprinkle Montreal-style steak seasoning all over it.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the meat on both sides until browned, around 5 minutes each side.

Transfer the seared meat to a slow cooker. Dissolve the beef bouillon cube in coffee and pour it over the meat. Add tomato sauce, dried oregano, and remaining Worcestershire sauce.
