Ingredients

1 (18.25 oz) package brownie mix (such as Pillsbury®)
0.66666668653488 cup vegetable oil
0.25 cup water
2 eggs
2 cups confectioners' sugar
1 cup creamy peanut butter
0.5 cup butter, softened
1 (6 oz) package chocolate chips
6 tablespoons butter, softened

Directions

1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

2

Combine the brownie mix, oil, water, and eggs in a bowl until smooth. Pour this into the prepared baking dish.

3

Bake until the brownie edges start to pull away from the sides of the pan – about 28 to 31 minutes. Let them cool.

4

In another bowl, beat together confectioners' sugar, peanut butter, and 0.5 cup softened butter until smooth and creamy. Spread this over the cooled brownies.

5

Melt the chocolate chips and 6 tablespoons of softened butter in a saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally – about 5 minutes. Spread this over the peanut butter layer. Let it cool, then slice into squares.
