Ingredients

10 cups unpeeled, cored, and sliced apples
0.5 cup white sugar
1 tbsp white whole wheat flour
1 tsp ground cinnamon
0.5 cup water
1 cup quick cooking oats
1 cup white whole wheat flour
0.5 cup packed brown sugar
0.5 cup chopped walnuts
0.25 tsp baking powder
0.25 tsp baking soda
0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted

Preheat the oven to 175 °C (350 °F).

In a 9x13-inch baking dish, arrange the sliced apples. Mix the white sugar, 1 tbsp flour, and ground cinnamon; sprinkle over the apples. Pour water evenly over them.
