Experience the delight of Chilean dobladitas, a versatile snack featuring tender and flaky layers. These quick bread bites are rolled out, cut into circles, and artfully folded before baking to golden perfection.
Preheat the oven to 230°C (450°F) and grease a baking sheet.
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, 1 cup of melted butter, milk, baking powder, and salt until the dough begins to form. Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead until it's smooth and elastic.
Roll out the dough to a thickness of 0.2 cm; cut into 8-inch circles using a round cookie cutter. Brush each circle with the remaining 3 tablespoons of melted butter. Fold each circle in half, then fold in half again to create triangles. Press firmly to seal the layers before placing them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake until golden brown for about 15 minutes. Serve immediately for a warm and delightful experience.
